 EL PAPEL DE LAS FAMILIAS EN UN CENTRO BILINGÜE

Para que un Proyecto Bilingüe funcione correctamente, necesita el apoyo y colaboración de las familias. Son muchas y muy variadas las actuaciones que éstas pueden y deben llevar a cabo para conseguir mejorar la competencia lingüística de nuestros niñ@s.

Aquí os dejo algunas sugerencias:

1. En primer lugar, es fundamental mostrar una actitud positiva, optimista, paciente y abierta ante la lengua y el Programa Bilingüe. Pregúntele a su hijo qué ha aprendido y anímenle a compartirlo con ustedes, con la familia y con los amigos (canciones, poemas, juegos..etc). La motivación y refuerzo resultan esenciales.
2. Ver la televisión, pelis, dibujos o vídeos en lengua extranjera, con o sin subtítulos. Hay mucho material en internet (Youtube) y también se puede cambiar el idioma de audio de los diferentes programas gracias a aparatos de TDT.
3. Escuchar música en lengua extranjera. Buscar información de la letra de las canciones, leerla, trabajarla y canturrearla hasta en la ducha...;)
4. Lectura de libros en lengua etxranjera o bilingües.
5. Consultar páginas web con contenidos culturales lúdicos o didácticos. El abanico de posiblidades es enorme. Hay juegos, presentaciones en powerpoint, canciones, cuentos...etc
6. Entablar conversaciones con nativos de la lengua extranjera en la medida de lo posible.

THE ROLE OF THE FAMILY IN A BILINGUAL CENTER
For a Bilingual Project to work properly , we need the support and cooperation of the families. There are many actions that families can and should carry out to improve our students' linguistic competence.Here you have some suggestions:1. It is essential to show a positive , optimistic, patient and open attitude towards language and the Bilingual Program . Ask your child what he/she has learned and encourage him/her to share it with you , with family and friends (songs, poems , games .. etc) . Motivation and reinforcement are essential.

2. Watching TV , movies , pictures or videos in a foreign language with or without subtitles. There is a lot of material on the Internet (Youtube) and you can also change the audio language of the various programs by DTT devices .

3. Listening to music in a foreign language. Find the lyrics of the songs , read it, and sing in the shower ;)

4.  Reading books in a foreign language.

5. Check web pages with recreational or educational cultural content. The range of possibilities is enormous. There are games, powerpoint presentations , songs, stories ... etc

6. Getting Engaged in conversations with native speakers of the foreign language as much as possible .
